Today is the 25th dec, which is also stephchen's bday!
Celebrated it on the 23rd at the 1k mark pontoon, which was just awesome :D (im waiting for YL to send me the photos)



SOOoooo, she received $50 adidas voucher and a cake, which i baked (insert a BIG grin here) and i bet she is having a wonderful time in malacca right now. So stephiechen, HappyBirthday, once again (:

back to the topic - christmas.
nothing much actually, just like every year. small party, church, dinner, presents.
Frankly, i dont really have any mood to celebrate christmas (or even new year). I was waiting for that special gift (cus someone thought that i'll receive it as a christmas present), but it didnt appear/come at all. My hopes and dreams are vanished, like totally.
This is the end of the month of december, i shouldnt be pinning any hopes on receiving it. Im trying to give up on that thought, but the more i think about it, the more i want it. The urge is just too great that i cant barely give up. I need that someone to talk to. sigggghhhhh ):
On a happier note, i found my newfound friend (according to him, he is not considered one) this christmas! :D and im happy to receive that call from sultan :DD

BAKING TIME :D Went to supermarket to get some stuff and off i am, spending the night in the kitchen!
Baked M&Ms cookies with a little cinnamon, a whole lot of them.


Mixed the left over batter with some peanut butter and ta-da, peanutbuttersin cookies! (peanut butter plus cinnamon).

Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups M&M's

Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 375° F.

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in M&Ms or peanutbutter!
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

I love saturdays! i can bake and bake and bake.

Like this flower that blossomed, our friendship blossomed as the year passed. and hopefully, it will never wither.

Meet/catching up session with some of 2e classmates.
So, everyone was late, as usual i guess. Human nature!
Well, we just kept on eating lots of food? and with the addition of laughters throughout. It was just totally wholesome, awesome to the vmax!
Reminisced bout sec2 days and how fun it would be if we were to be in the same class throughout our secondary school life. (ya, i wish that it happened)

So, we walked from one end of Orchard Rd, to another end. I love the ice cream at swensens! But, UDDERS's icecream is way much awesome! :D

lunch-ed with the guys at crystal jade.
the guys are just plain funny, never fail to make me laugh.
went home to bake after that.

i was on the bus, thinking about what he said regarding canoeing.
i came up with a conclusion.
we shouldnt slack anymore, we should really work hard for nats. bring glory to cjc canoeing and i really hope that k4 will do well!

oh happy days!

back from mawai camp and im glad that i went for it.
It was a memorable experience with the canoeists, group2 and t18.
eventhough it has that village-ish feeling with no electricity and limited supply of water, i still appreciate the time spent there.
The nights were cold, the sound of the nature seemed like a lullaby to some, while i was disturbed by the sound of snoring that i could barely sleep throughout the camp.
Mawai is an amazing place with the beauty of its surrounding, especially at night. I simply couldnt resist going for another firefly cruise.
The stars-filled sky at night was just beautiful and the fireflies were too pretty to resist us from saying WOW.

Mawai with its richness in history and natural glory made me adore that place to the vmax.
